Junior Achievement
Celebrating two-fifths of a century of teaching values and business acumen at a school-age level, Junior Achievement capped their 40th year in style.

In other words, they capped their 40th year with a grand, HenkinSchultz-produced spectacle.

As is per usual, Junior Achievement had rave reviews readily available, as they witnessed the past 40 years in video form, then took in a grand vision for the future of Junior Achievement in the area. JA members and officials from around the nation were in attendance, and it was up to us to make the local chapter look better than good.

When it comes to art, we eagerly await each year’s Big Grape project for the Avera McKennan Foundation – and this year is no different.

More than just print, the Big Grape reaches across all mediums for a full-contact wine-centered campaign to help kids with cancer, and we’re always proud to get a chance to take the ball and run.

It’s a chance to honor a great cause – funding for children’s cancer care – while offering an artful approach to one of our favorite pastimes: enjoying a great bottle of wine and a great night of socializing and music.

It was the SDAF World Tour, and it culminated with the 43rd Annual South Dakota ADDY Awards. So what better way to connect the two than by letting rock and roll run roughshod over the ceremony?

Taking stock of the year’s materials – and animating them to a score heavy in metal and punk – we helped set the stage, so to speak, at the ADDYs, sparking each Gold and Silver designation with a little splash of hardcore and making the walk to the stage a little more awesome.

We created the invites and the PR and the print ads get them to the event. And in this case, we even staged and produced the event.

It was the 102nd Annual Meeting of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, and we gave Sioux Falls the royal treatment with a Modern Marvels theme. Seriously – we even got the guy who does the voice-over for Modern Marvels. All because Sioux Falls truly has become a modern marvel: bucking the trends, continuing growth during a recession, etc.

Most importantly, we even managed to impress Tom Brokaw. Now THAT’s the full package.
