First, we had to take into consideration the proprietary nature of Ratchford’s Dream Home Vision process. So, we set some user-friendly security measures in place: asking for a first name and a valid e-mail to register a user (which gave an added benefit of building a database). Once the user logs in twice, the password is modified and an e-mail is sent to the Tony Ratchford Group as a follow-up tool.
This project at TonyRatchford.com is the first database-driven flash application that HenkinSchultz has worked on, and we have been able to boost the search-engine optimization of nearly all flash projects. Through custom URLs coupled with Google Analytics, we’re able to see who’s visiting what section and track their online activity. This gives us the tools we need to continually refine our approach.
